We investigate the intrinsic decoherence dynamics of the two-atom Jaynes-Cummings model with Heisenberg exchange interaction. Specifically, we investigate the entanglement between the two atoms under the influence of Heisenberg exchange interaction. The concurrence is used to characterize the entanglement and we find that its dynamics is crucially dependent on the strength of Heisenberg exchange interaction. With certain interaction strength, the concurrence can be increased and the intrinsic decoherence can also be restrained.
