Property of partially disturbed polarization of Airy beam

The evolution of the polarization of Airy beam disturbed by a transparent obstruction at any position in vacuum is modeled. Analytical expression for the degree of the partially disturbed polarization of Airy beam is derived. As a special case, the change of the polarization of Airy beam which main lobe is disturbed is investigated and discussed. Results show that the polarization of the main lobe of Airy beam has very similar property to the self-healing of its intensity with an opaque obstruction, although the whole property of the polarization of the Airy beam is very different from the self-healing.
