Stark widths for 19 lines in the spectrum of singly charged lutetium ion have been calculated using modified semiempirical method for an electron density of and temperatures from 5 000 K up to 80 000 K. The obtained results have been used for the investigation of the influence of Stark broadening on Lu II spectral lines in stellar atmospheres and for the investigations of Stark width regularities. In the case of Lu II lines considered in this work, Stark broadening is important for white dwarfs but can be neglected in A-type star atmospheres.
