We study the dynamical polarization of the nearby nuclear spins in NV center system when magnetic field is tuned to the ground state level anti-crossing point. We obtain an analytical result which gives a good explanation and an explicit physical picture to the experiment [H.J. Wang et al., Nat. Commun. 4, 1940 (2013)] both for the electron-nuclear eigenstates population and the nuclear spin polarization. Our theory may be exploited to measure the transverse part of the hyperfine tensor and testify the correction of the hyperfine tensor calculated by ab initio method.
