In this work, field enhancement and resonant modes of a proposed plasmonic contour H-shaped nano-antenna are obtained using finite element method (FEM). According to obtained results, an H-shaped contour nano-antenna shows twofold enhancement in the gap region with respect to a standard plasmonic H-shaped nano-antenna with the same geometries. Furthermore, it is shown that other resonances in diverse wavelengths are also achievable with the same structure and the amplification also happens in regions other than the gap. This characterization beside the broad amplification area, shows the potential of this structure for novel applications.
