We derive dynamical equations for the motion of a molecule in a two mode ring cavity from a completely classical picture, including the molecular spontaneous decay and the cavity decay rates. The numerical results show that the molecule is trapped inside a single potential well and cooled on a timescale of order 10κ-1. The cooling process is strongly enhanced by modulating some parameters.
