We investigate how the combination of photon subtraction and coherent displacement affects the nonclassical properties of multiple-photon subtracted displaced squeezed thermal state (PSDSTS). We find that the Mandel Q parameter, the quadrature squeezing and the negative volume of Wigner functions of the PSDSTS are all periodic functions of the compound phase φ − θ/2 involved in the squeezing parameter ξ = reiθ and the displacement parameter λ = |λ|eiφ with a period π. Particularly, we find that some interesting effects arise as φ − θ/2 = π/2. However, they are all phase independent except the Wigner function when λ = 0. Finally, we investigate the non-Gaussianity of the PSDSTS according to the fidelity between the PSDSTS and the displaced squeezed thermal state (DSTS), and find that the non-Gaussianity induced by the photon-subtraction operation is essentially nonclassical.
