Abstract

For a higher-dimensional integrable nonlinear dynamical system, there are abundant coherent soliton excitations. By means of the extended mapping approach, new exact quasi-periodic and non-periodic solutions for the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear systems are displayed both analytically and graphically.
